Born Paz Campos Trigo in Seville, Andalucía, Spain the actress decided to use her grandmother's last name of Vega when she began her career. Married since 2002 to Orson Salazar, the couple has one son, also named Orson, born in May of 2007. A Spanish citizen who had been in 13 foreign films before getting the "Introducing Paz Vega" label for her first English language movie, SPANGLISH, the actress is also well liked for her roles in 10 ITEMS OR LESS and as the sexy Plaster of Paris in THE SPIRIT. Most recently, Paz delivered her second child, a daughter, in July of 2009.
