Coming from a long line of actors, Bridget is the daughter of Peter Fonda, the son of Henry Fonda. Her aunt is actress Jane Fonda. She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute from the time she was 18 and got her start in acting as a child in an uncredited role in EASY RIDER. Best known for playing a sweetheart in many movies, including SINGLES, a film written by Cameron Crowe specifically for her. Fonda was known to have an 8 year relationship with actor Eric Stoltz and was once engaged to actor/country singer Dwight Yoakam for a couple of years before marrying the former lead singer of Oingo Boingo and famous movie soundtrack creator Danny Elfman in 2003. The couple have one child together.
